Found some old pictures

Just found some old pictures from GK @ Fagerlia when we went on a class trip. Most of you haven't seen it so, enjoy the slideshow!

Some Changes

Got some time to spare, or just time so I just made some changes to the graphical of the blog. Just wanted to see if I was able to get a picture in the header, and also make it the right width and some other tweaks. Also I'm using another template, that was more casual and laid-back.

Hope people enjoy, I also changed the header so that it makes sense to others too, not just the silly norwegians.

And while I'm at it, posting like crazy, I also wanted to mention the following:
Some songs that everyone should enjoy and I've been enjoying lately:

T.I. - Swagger Like Us (ft. Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne)
Lil Wayne - Mr. Carter ft. Jay-Z
Kanye West - Gone
Jay Z - Jockin Jay-Z
Jay-Z - D'Evils
The Game - Game's Pain
The Game - Angel ft. Common
The Game - Gentleman's Affair ft. Ne-Yo
Kanye West - Love Lockdown

Expanded Width

I thought the slideshows and the blog in general was too narrow, and too tight and small, so I did some google-searching, not soul-searching, and I found out a way to expand it, so that its now possible to make the slideshows wider.

To demonstrate, and try it out, I will upload some pictures and get them out here for you to enjoy,

Peace

Picnic and such

Haloha from Hawaii to the People of the arctics and what not!

Since I've been so unactive here, it's time to catch up. This weekend the Norwegian Student Association - BOREALIS - held a picnic for the Vikings and whoever wanted some Norwegian mingling.

So about 100 people showed up.. We had a blast and people ate Pizza and Hamburgers like a bunch of homeless people, or maybe homeless people hustled our food, I don't know, I was too busy getting my ass served in volleyball at the beachvolley court at Fort DeRussy.

But people was having a great time, and everyone who was there had a good time, at least the ones I spoke too.

We played volleyball and ate. We played Norwegians vs Swedes and the norwegians got slammed to the ground... I guess in the rematch we will get our A-squad together and really show those bastards who's the king of Fort DeRussy, because its certainly not the Swedes.

After the Picnic we gathered some people for a funtime at LuLu's - Waikiki's local surfbars. It was fun, and packed with Norwegians or wannabe's. I would guess, also about 100 showed up for this, but then again, who's counting?

Enough talk, and I will let the pictures do the talking! Enjoy the slideshow!

Hawaii Oslo, More like Hawaii Ålesund

Last year, I was the only Sunnmøring or Ålesunder on "the rock" - this year, its five.

I knew that Andreas Lindin was going, and Mona Fiskerstrand, but then theres also some other ones: Ronny, Aleksander and Hanne.

So it was pretty funny to see that there are that many Ålesunder's here in Hawaii, and also in one of the video-rentals here they have a whole section dedicated to Norwegian movies - I've never seen it myself, so I don't know how large this "section" is, but it's a section, and I'm somewhat amazed.

Here are pictures of the Ålesunders that are here:

I'm back in HAWAII

Finally I'm back in Hawaii.

Everything is great - I'm now 21, and are having a really, really good time here so far!

My classes are great, the classes for this semester is:
PSY 3121: Applications to Psychology of Management; basically it is about how to run a successful business with employees of different background and with different personality types and traits, so by applying the MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) on them - which is the most accurate identification tool for different personalities - it sees how to act to the different types.
In this class I also have a really cool professor who swears and says fuck, fucking, shit etc. more than anyone I know - he is awesome!

PSY 3809: Human Sexuality - which is about the human sexuality and that's basically it. My teacher there is the head of the psychology department I believe, and also an excellent teacher and was awarded as HPU's best professor last year. He is both funny and interesting - well I guess it's not a challenging class to make interesting, now is it?

BIOL 1000: Introduction to Biology - its just an introductory course I need to take some higher level Psychology courses like Neuropsychology (The functions of the brain) and such.

MATH 1115: Survey of Math; this is basically a math course about patterns and seeing the whole and using that knowledge to determine future events and possible explanations for why certain things happens.

HIST 2002: One of many General Education classes I need to take to complete a Bachelor - it's just how the american school system is based, they want students to not only know about a narrow road in your major, but also understand the broad range of fields there is to study. Actually its an interesting course, and we get to learn a lot more detailed about events we learned about earlier - how bloody and messy things really where, and not censored and hidden like history is from 1st grade and all the way through High School.

Oh, I learned how to integrate webalbums to my Blog now, so I guess more pictures will be frequent and as a slideshow instead of as one by one.

LATER PEOPLE OF THE WORLD - I GOT HOMEWORK TO DO, AND ITS 00:25 IN THE NIGHT, ZZZ
